Dad excludes 14-year-old triplet daughter from Six Flags trip with sons under the guise of a "boy's trip," gets mad at wife for taking her on a mother-daughter date to compensate: "[You] shouldn't get her used to special treatment"

Some of my favorite memories growing up were the mother-daughter dates that I had with my homegirl. For us, that meant really, really long Target runs and trips to the mall. We'd try on clothes for ages and get soft pretzels covered in cinnamon with a giant cup of lemonade as a pick-me-up. Shopping was always a lot more fun with just her – you know, without my dad trailing behind us, silently sulking. I always felt more free to talk about my multiple crushes and receive "womanly" advice from her when it was just us.

In our story today, a mother-daughter duo have their own cute little day to themselves. As cute as it was, eating brunch and making Build-a-Bears for each other, the hangout was prompted by the girl's dad completely excluding her from a trip to Six Flags. His excuse? She would ruin the vibe of the "boy's trip." If that's not sad enough, dad was pretty mad at the girls for having fun without him.
